Location Intelligence values Deep Learning
The geo-sector is changing rapidly under the influence of big data. Using real-time data from dynamic sensors, smart phones and satellites, a multitude of location information is at our disposal. The potential benefits are unprecedented and the applications seem almost limitless.
Location information is a unifying factor in solving social issues, including for example agriculture. The current food chain is under pressure, and often includes unnecessary modes of transportation. Location intelligence applied to food could help producers deliver to nearby consumers instead of through distribution centers, reducing the impact on the environment whilst reducing cost at the same time.
Henri van Mil, responsible for sales and marketing at Geodan, will share his views on how location intelligence will change smart cities, smart agriculture, help limit the impact of flooding, and a lot more.
